The subject property is located less than one mile south of the area’s main hospital campus, Artesia General Hospital. Other than a small dialysis facility operated by DaVita out of the hospital itself, DaVita Artesia is the only freestanding dialysis center in town. The next closest freestanding dialysis center is located over 35 miles away from the subject property. The town of Artesia is located in the southeastern portion of the state of New Mexico with the next closest metropolitan area being the city of Lubbock, Texas to the northeast.
