My undergraduate degree is in engineering from the United States Military Academy at West Point. I served in the U.S. Army (Airborne, Ranger, and Artillery).
My law degree, J.D., is from the University of New Mexico, where I was Student Bar President, on the Dean's List, and received several graduation awards. My Martindale Hubbell Law Directory rating was AV, and I was chosen for membership in Best Lawyers in America.
I’ve taught preparatory classes for real estate brokerage licensees. I’ve also taught use of financial calculators, because use and application of discounted cash flow analyses in connection with commercial and investment transactions is a must.
I was elected to the Board of Directors of CARNM, the Commercial Association of Realtors of New Mexico. I also serve with the Sandoval Economic Alliance, an economic development organization devoted to growing Sandoval County (which includes Rio Rancho, one of the fasted growing communities in the country).
I’ve published a number of articles regarding business management and economics. Recently the “Albuquerque Journal” published my article entitled “A Real Estate Lawsuit No One Knows About,” detailing the importance of the epic struggle between CoStar and Xceligent to resolve which contestant will be allowed to provide property data to investors nationwide (“Albuquerque Journal, Home Section,” August 17, 2017).
My principal commercial and investment real estate market includes Albuquerque and Santa Fe. The market size allows me to personally know principal lenders and appraisers, critical links in investment and development success. My goal is to help buyers and sellers identify opportunities best suited for their needs.
